I'm Alex Bradley, the “evil genius” behind Miskatonic U. I am a writer, illustrator, and animator with an unhealthy fixation on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. By the way, this is a drawing.
Winston is going to dragged into the morass of weirdness that is the shadow of Miskatonic U., whether he likes it or not. We knew that, but he’s coming at it from a different perspective that the usual Lovecraft character.
Normally, they are already aware of the possibility that there is something more than the mundane universe. Voracious readers of antiquarian books or master dreamers. Or both.
What I’m trying to say is, I like this. It carries the traditional memes but remains a fresh look at them.
Thank you so much! It means the world to me that people besides me are reading this, and having someone follow it so closely with insightful and funny comments really gives me all kinds of warm fuzzies!
Alex, I’m with Eddi, here for the long haul and always ready for a new post. If I don’t comment often it’s because I’m not as well versed in the Lovecraftverse as others. But, oh ye Gods, does this comic take me back to my own awkward fresh(wo)man days! And my own voluntary exploration of alternate philosophies.
Thank you!! I feel a little bad because I chose to write in a period where the idea of a coed university was still a fairly novel idea, and female students coexisted in about the proportion I have in my comic. We’ll see more from Dorothy Upman Hall as I sort out the loose ends I have been leaving everywhere!
You use the phrase “here for the long haul” in a Mythos comic, and I have to wonder if you’ve got snacks. Or at least are a Darkest of the Hillside Thickets fan.

Your welcome. I’m hooked and here for the long haul.

I’d love to think that some of the coeds could have learned arcane lore at their grannies knees that could put the Foxhams and their ilk to shame.
No spoilers, now!
