Even if Yithro trades back, he has messed up Ernest’s life to a catastrophic degree. Yith may need to cheat on this mess by looping Time and undoing everything since the sophomore year started. But then Alex loses either his mind or the plot threads.
I’m going with more of a someWHAT. That’s assuming I’ve read the visual clues correctly.
Depending on his current state of consciousness, Ernest could be receiving an interesting education in its own right if she’s eeing the worlds from a shoggoth’s POV.
OTOH, I’m concerned for Bertha wshen Ernest eventually returns to his body if he doesn’t share the same sympathies with her as Yithro does.
