Here is a strip I have been looking forward to/dreading for a long time. How to draw those italicized angles of Lovecraft’s. The effect is maybe a little more subtle than I would have liked, but I still like it.

This may seem to go against Lovecraft’s idea of an uncaring cosmos, but at least it’s a cosmos based on self-interest. That doesn’t necessarily gibe with my own views, but that’s art for you.
