Abrupt Ending

I sense that I will someday have to deal with the gaping discrepancy that these creatures that exist outside of time can have the concept of something being “unexpected.”
It is so hard to get into the heads of these guys! Why did I have to be born in stupid spacetime?!
Last time Yithro saw Shog’s torso, it looked like this.
Yithro may exist outside time as we know it, but he is still limited to what he can observe. And lately the cat has been blocking him out, so to him there are gaps in his continuity. Like missing an episode or two of Dark Shadows can throw you right off the deep end trying to catch up again.
As for Shog. Do I send him congratulations for becoming a mother, or sympathy for his loss?
Ah yes, cats! They truly are the solution to–and cause of–any enigma.
Yes, “must have been cats” is a perfect explanation for almost anything.
Whatever’s happened/ing to Shog, it looks like it’s doing baaad things to his intellect. *pause* Such as it is. (Though I think he’s more logically minded than Yithro most of the time.)
Artificial life certainly has a way of being logical.
…at least starting out that way.
Ah yes, “life”. So easily susceptible to chaos in all it’s manifestations. The illusion of logic is so soothing–and misleading.
