In 1911, pneumonia was nothing to be “sneezed at.” I’ve had too many Jung enthusiasts read to me verbatim, direct-to-English translations of his works to be taken aback at what Kurt has just read but even without a potentially lethal illness brewing, it still caused a “huh?” moment.
