Following on from Eddi’s comment on the last installment: Just how long can Lam Len’s body and Winston’s consciousness hold out before the one drowns and both lose consciousness (forever). This is assuming Lam Len is still aware somewhere in the cosmic scene and not passed over to whatever afterworld is appropriate.
