“What when it a trick is?” – I can’t even parse this. I think Kurt may have failed a sanity check. Or I did.
I think the fact that Kurt can even attempt English in the middle of an adrenaline rush is pretty spectacular. But yeah, it IS a pretty whacked sentence…
I’m not saying you’re wrong about the sanity check, but it may help to know that the word “if” is “wenn” in German.
