Humans make bad lab rats. And we get worse when we realize are being experimented on by other lab rats.
1) Re Eddi’s comment, yeah, we’re a gloriously ornery. contrarian species. Even those of use who’ve given ourselves to our feline overlords sometimes wonder if it was a good idea. And then we give them a head rub. Bless us.
2) I’ve been following this chapter “religiously” but refrained from commenting because I’ve kindasorta been where Lilliana was–though Winston would have been a major step up from my own partner at that time.
