For Whom the Bell, Book, and Candle Toll

Tsk tsk. I always feel like when I resort to a five panel format I have not edited myself sufficiently. Too many words, cramped panels.
Well, if it will work anywhere, it would be a Lovecraftian comic!
(Edit: Plus, my balloon placement in panel 2 is abysmal. I almost feel like numbering the balloons so you know what order to read them. Working too late into the night… sanity slipping away…)
…voices in the hallway…scratchings at the door…. And if I wanted a comic that was non-stop action, I would renew my subscription to Superman.
A small bit of advice? Panel 2 should be similar to Panel 1 to keep the captions flowing left to right. Then use Panel 3 for the reverse view.
And when did Lillianna become Marion the Spooky Librarian? She knows more than the others combined if she has been advising Wilshire’s group.
Good advice, as that would also have been less work! Far be it from me to actually save time drawing this…
You’d become a spooky librarian too if someone just handed you the key to a forbidden library! Apologies if you are already a spooky librarian.
More a spooky library patron. And you can parse that sentence either way and be correct.
By the way, very perceptive of Kurt to mention they needed the book for Winston. Even if he may not approve of the chemistry developing between those two, at least he acknowledges it exists.
Yes, I love that too, that Kurt mentions Winston. I wonder what she’ll say…
The fact she handed them the UK without comment says volumes.
