Hmm, a bit of a drawing fail here, in scope at least. Think “Raiders of the Lost Ark warehouse” on the last frame.
It would look like that except a ship has to fit just as much into a smaller space. Not only is the hold massive, the only list of the contents is in the Purser’s safe. Which no doubt went down with the ship.
