The Plan Under There
Feb06
Apparently the panty raid was not documented until 1948 as a common post WWII college prank. This fact falls under the category of boring and no fun at all for my purposes.
I argue that if they were documented, they weren’t being done right. In 1911, fraternities knew how to keep a secret!
You got that right. Being caught with a stag film could ruin a man to the point of suicide or joining a monastery.
Would Miskatonic even have female students? In 1911 women couldn’t even vote, let alone attend an Ivy League(?) university.
There were a few universities that became or were founded coeducational in the 19th century, though my research seems to indicate the few female students on campus were not at all popular with the much more populous male students. They would often date outside of the university for social events.
In Miskatonic’s case, I’m using a timeline where wealthy donor Dorothy Upman bequeathed a lot of money to the university in 1875 with the stipulation that the university become coeducational.
