Dr. Herbert West has always been my favorite Lovecraftian doctor.
I suppose this could be the re-animator’s father or grandfather… since Herbert is 31 and practicing in Bolton or Boston in 1911.
This particular bit of exposition is pretty vital. Just the slightest return from Kurt and the light went on. The question is, what will Winston do with this new fact? He really has no background to place it in besides a couple dreams.
As a Lovecraft protagonist, he’s absolutely perfect.
